Giant Footprints

The other day giant footprints appeared on the street in town. I drove over them, not knowing what they were, and then reversed to have a better look. The footprints were an advertisement for the Texas State Fair which began on September 27 and runs through October 20. I think they are supposed to be the actual size of Big Tex's foot - 10 feet by 3 feet.

After the hard rain we had the other day the footprints got all muddy from people driving over them. A few local fans came out and washed them off. We noticed later that orange cones were surrounding them so you couldn't drive over them.

We're curious to see the new Big Tex since the old Big Tex caught on fire last year. He's supposed to be bigger and better.
