Scarecrows Again

The town down the road have been setting out scarecrows again this fall. So when I was out the other day I stopped a few places and took a few photos. You can look at the previous years 2012 here and 2013 here. I just realized I didn't post any photos the last couple of years.

Traffic Light

I was driving into town the other day and came up to this. It look me awhile to process what I was seeing. A traffic light?

I eventually discovered that they were working on the road just around the corner, where I possibly couldn't see.

I thought it was a bit unnecessary considering the amount of traffic on this particular farm road. Plus we don't even have a traffic light on the highway in town.

The light cycle took 5 minutes. It usually only takes me 5 minutes to get all the way into town!

Weird Egg

One of the hens laid a weird looking egg the other day.

Dry Ground

This is what the ground on our property looks like when it hasn't rained in several weeks. Not to mention all the dust.
