Firebush

We haven't done much with the landscaping around our house. The plants that have survived so far were here when we bought the house. We're doing good if we can keep the weeds to a minimum.

The shrubs along the front of the house were blooming recently. One plant had particularly abundant blossoms (first photo, far right), while the others didn't. I'm not sure why, but I suspect it has something to do with the more protected position during the cold weather.

The blossoms looked like little pompom or tassels.
