Land of Lights

We finally made it over to see the Christmas Park Land of Lights the other evening. We had driven by several times and had heard about it, so we were anxious to see for ourselves what it was like. It's only open from mid-November until January 2nd each year.

You drive through the Christmas Park. They charge you by the car load - $20. Many signs warned you not to stop and to stay in your car as you drive through.

They advertise that the drive is over one mile long and has over 4 million lights, 50 motion controlled lighted scenes with related music, 5 tunnels, 7 arches, and 1500 wood cutouts.

I'm not the best photographer on a good day, so add the challenges of night photography with bright lights and a moving car, and I only ended up with a few good shots.
