Trunk or Treat

The idea of "Trunk or Treat" was new to us, but apparently not to many others. So when Neighbor invited us to go along with him into town last night, we decided we should see what it was all about.

Most of the people who live out of town come into town and park their cars and trucks in a church parking lot. They open their trunks or sit on their tailgates ready with candy. Meanwhile, all the town and out of town children walk up and down past the cars/trucks and hold out their bags. Most didn't even bother to say "Trick or Treat", or thank you for that matter. It seemed very efficient to me.

Once again, the quiet little town came alive with all sorts of people dressed up. We're beginning to realize it's not such a quiet little town after all.
