Youth Expo

We went along to the county Youth Expo recently. Daughter had entered an item in the creative arts division so we thought we'd go see how she did.

Since I had gone last year with Neighbor's Wife, I was a little more prepared. I, at least, knew not to wear my cute shoes this time. But this was Guv'nor and Daughter's first experience going to the Youth Expo. He said later how uncomfortable he had felt, being completely out of his element. Hopefully before too long we'll feel more comfortable around all the livestock.

We sat in the arena for awhile and watched the pig judging. It was very dusty.

The quilt entry that won the creative arts division had an embroidered boy on a tractor.

Daughter's creative arts entry was a knitted infinity scarf. She won 4th place.
